Why North Toronto:
“I’ve been at North Toronto for seven years now and I am always excited to go back every summer after college. The environment that the club has created allows high level players to excel easily. This is due to the competitiveness everyone brings out of one another. I always feel ready going back to college during pre season both mentally and physically. This is why I play for North Toronto.”

From the coach:
“Kiki is someone who’s influence on this team cannot be overestimated. Last year’s League1 experience was a frustrating time for her as she did not feature as much as she would have liked, but not once did she allow her own personal frustrations impact the team culture or environment. In fact she did the very opposite and got her head down, worked hard, played minutes with the Reserve Team and then, when the opportunity presented itself against Vaughan, showed exactly what she was capable of. Kiki then built on her performances at the back end of the League1 season by going back to school and having a really positive Fall season with FIU. This isn’t how 99.9% of players would react to these personal set-backs which is why Kiki is a unique leader and role model at our Club. Aside from her leadership qualities, Kiki has a quality left peg and fantastic vision which allows her to create from deep. It’s a position where I feel we have a really good balance going into the 2023 season. Kiki is also a massive threat from set-plays which will be an added threat for us this year.” – Billy Wilson, Head Coach
