OPDL U13-U17

The OPDL represents youth players' journey from grassroots to high performance soccer and combines competition with a standards-based approach to training and player development.

What? The OPDL is Ontario Soccer’s standards-based provincial league and represents the highest level of youth soccer in Ontario. The OPDL represents youth players’ journey from grassroots to high performance soccer and combines competition with a standards-based approach to training and player development.

When? The OPDL Program is year-round and runs from Early January to the end of November. Players participating in this Program will train four times per week and play one game per week during the season. The season runs from April – October.

Who? This program is designed to provide the best youth players with access to a year-round development program. This program requires full commitment from players throughout the year. Players are selected to be part of the OPDL program and each OPDL team carries a roster of 20 players.

How? The club’s OPDL program does not hold open-tryouts. Interested players should contact the Team Head Coach and be prepared to provide information about their previous club teams and playing experience. Providing video is recommended. Interested players who are current members of the Club, but are registered to another program should contact their Team Head Coach to discuss whether OPDL could be a viable option based on their skill level.
