What? The High Performance Program is designed to prepare players for post-secondary soccer opportunities such as U-Sports, NCAA, and professional Club opportunities. The U19 team is mainly composed of 2007 born players, while The U21 team is mainly players born in 2006. Both teams play in League1 Ontario U19 and U21/Reserve Leagues.
When? The High Performance Program is year-round and runs from Early January to the end of November. Players participating in this Program will train four times per week and play one game per week during the season in League1 Ontario. The season runs from April – October. Between January and March the teams will also play games against college and university programs in both Ontario and the USA; these games are known as our High Performance Games Program.
Who? This program is designed to provide the best grade 11 & 12 players who have aspirations of playing soccer post-secondary. These players are provided with access to a year-round development & games program. This program requires complete commitment from players throughout the year. Players are selected to be part of the High Performance Program with the majority transitioning from the Club’s OPDL teams.
How? The club’s High Performance Program does not hold open-tryouts. Interested players should contact the Team Head Coach and be prepared to provide information about their previous club teams and playing experience. Providing video is recommended.
