What? The Competitive Program is designed to provide youth players between the ages of 12 and 18 the opportunity to develop their skills while competing in either Regional or Local competitions. At this stage of development, players have graduated from our Development Program and are assigned to a specific team based on their skill level. The Competitive Program teams are considered the second and third level of play at each age group U13 – U18, with the OPDL Program being the tier one option for players U13+.
When? Players participating in this Program will train two to three times per week and play in one game per week on average during the outdoor season and a game every two weeks during the indoor season.
Where? Teams train at a variety of local fields during the outdoor season, including but not limited to, North Toronto Collegiate, Northern Secondary, Toronto French School, Esther Shiner Stadium, Downsview, as well as a few grass fields. During the indoor season, the majority of our teams train out of the Toronto SoccerPlex but we also utilize fields at The Hangar. Games are played in a variety of locations throughout the GTA, York Region, Durham Region, and potentially Peel-Halton.
Who? This program is designed for players who wish to dedicate time to develop their skills through a structured training and games program. Players need to try out for this program with teams selected by the Head Coach.
