Why I coach:
“The beautiful game has a unique ability to unite people regardless of language, culture or background. I have made many of my best lifelong friends through sports as we struggled together to become the best versions of ourselves.

Players learn that the most successful teams in soccer are filled with players who have resilient self-belief, but are not too arrogant to make the game easy for their teammates. You learn that hard work and fitness are essential, but intelligence has made the difference in the careers of so many great players who are no physical specimens. I love soccer because anyone has the chance to be great, and it improves the life of everyone who tries. Whether your goal is to play professionally or just enhance your life by churning stress into endorphins; sport is irreplaceable.”
