Why did you join the board?
To give back to the club that continues to help all 3 of my kids excel at soccer and helps them grow with great values. I have a deep passion for soccer and wanted to give back to the community and continue to build the game of soccer amongst the youth.

What professional or other experience do you bring to the board?
I try to bring some Financial expertise to the board and try to make sure our finances are always in line with our strategy.
How many years have you been on the board? At the club?
I was elected to the North Toronto Soccer Board of Directors in November 2017 and Treasurer of the Board in November 2020. My families first contact with North Toronto Soccer was in 2007 when my daughter joined the recreational soccer program.
What other volunteer roles have you held at NT or another youth soccer/sport team? (Team Manager, Social Manager, parent, etc.)
I coached both soccer and hockey at the grass roots level.
What impact have you had as a volunteer at North Toronto Soccer?
Positive I hope. We have recently re-structured for the future and we are now working on maintaining a good financial standing as a non for profit entity.
Why is a board important in a youth soccer club?
A board is very important to provide governance and direction. To provide guidance around risk and future strategy of the club. The board works with the Management team to achieve goals set out by the club.
