OPDL Check-In: Gary Miller Charity Shield

The U16 OPDL boys showcased remarkable spirit at the Gary Miller Charity Shield Finals, battling back from a 0-2 deficit to tie the game 2-2 in the dying moments. Lucas Dyck and Arseni Basko displayed their skill and determination, bringing hope to their team and supporters alike. Despite their incredible fight, the match ended in heartbreak as they conceded a goal in the 7th minute of extra time, finishing 3-2. Their resilience and teamwork throughout the game were commendable, highlighting the players’ commitment and potential for future success.

The team’s journey continues, as our OPDL teams, High Performance Teams and Competitive U13 + Teams will be participating in the FTF x VSC Fall Showdown in Vaughn this weekend.

Good luck to all teams participating and congratulations to all our OPDL teams who have concluded the 2024 season!
