We are happy to announce that our very own Coach Marko Milanović will be presented with the Coaches High Performance Award at this year’s Centre Circle Awards. The Centre Circle Awards represent Ontario Soccer’s highest level of recognition, celebrating individuals and organizations that have made outstanding contributions to the development of soccer in Ontario and Canada.
Marko’s journey with North Toronto Soccer spans over 15 years, beginning with his work in grassroots soccer and evolving to his current role in our High Performance League1 Men’s Program. As the Head Coach of the League1 Men’s Premier, L2, and L1 U20 groups, Marko’s influence and dedication have become well known within the North Toronto Soccer Community.
His commitment to excellence is evident through the countless players he has mentored, many of whom have progressed to collegiate, semi-professional, and professional environments across North America and Europe. Known for his exceptional coaching abilities, professionalism, integrity, and respect, Marko commands the utmost admiration from players, families, and staff alike.
Beyond the technical and tactical aspects of soccer, Marko’s influence extends to life lessons, leaving a lasting positive impact on the youth and young adults he coaches. His high standards and unwavering dedication have helped shape the culture of excellence at North Toronto Soccer.
Marko will be joining last year’s recipient from our club, Nadine Powell, who won the Ontario Soccer’s Centre Circle Coaches Soccer 4 Life Award in 2023. It is a testament to the incredible talent and leadership within our organization.
Marko’s induction into the North Toronto Soccer Hall of Fame further demonstrates his invaluable contributions and the lasting legacy he continues to build.
