How do we protect young referees from abuse?

Our referee consultant, Adrian Tanjala, had the opportunity to discuss parental abuse towards referees during soccer games and how it effect especially our young referees. Adrian, in his interview, proposes solutions towards one of strong collaboration between refs and parents/players/coaches, changing the culture of antagonizing officials. The full interview is available here on CBC Cross Country Checkup with Ian Hanomansing (timestamps 1:56 to 9:30).
